The Youngsters
Our Approach Kashmir 2003 filly. Kashmir is the perfect horse for an amateur with competitive ambitions, combining size, eye-catching looks, and expressive gaits with fantastic rideability, consistent obedience, and a kind, willing temperament. Despite her size (she will probably mature between 16.3 and 17 hands) Kash does not need a lot of muscle to ride; she is light but steady in the hand, and responsive to leg without being hot in any way. Her trot and canter have style and suspension, yet are easy to sit. Kash is as polished and steady as many horses twice her age. She is solidly trained, under saddle in professional training since February 2006, brought along carefully and thoroughly, and now schooling first level, with special talent for lateral work. Taken out regularly, a pleasant ride on trails. No vices or problems, extremely quiet on the ground; clips, hot-shoes, loads/trailers, and cross-ties. At her very first show, Kash won her very first class, with a score of nearly 67%; she had 7s on gaits and submission and no score lower than a 6, with barely two minutes of warmup! Her behavior at the show grounds was exemplary.
